Description:

This Jimy Tools twist socket set is used to remove bolts and nuts that the corners of the hex have been damaged or rounded, so a conventional socket will not grip. The internal teeth of a twist socket bite into the bolt or nut gives excellent grip allowing the fastener to be undone. Only works in an anticlockwise direction for the removal of damaged fasteners that will need to be replaced. When you have undone the fastener use the steel pin and a hammer to remove the bolt or nut from the twist socket. Twist sockets are made from AISI 4340 a Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum alloy steel known for its toughness and its ability to attain high strength with HRC 52 – 55 hardness. The set is supplied in a blow mould case.
